The tecla-e wheelchair port is designed to connect to wheelchair output ports (known as Environmental Control Unit [ECU] or Input / Output Module [IOM] depending on the wheelchair manufacturer) or to multiple switches like joysticks or head arrays.

 

The port follows the Simple Electrical Transducer (SET) Standard with some added functionality for future features.
